When a defect is not (or no longer) covered by warranty, a paid repair may be possible in some cases. This always happens after a technical assessment and only with your explicit approval.

Window Cleaner Depot does not carry out repairs without prior permission and reserves the right to refuse a repair when it is not technically or economically justified.

A repair falls outside the warranty when:

• the warranty period has expired
• the defect is the result of normal wear
• the machine was used intensively or incorrectly
• the product was used outside the product specifications
• modifications or repairs were carried out by third parties
• damage was caused by external factors (impact, water or frost damage, and so on)

Before a repair can be carried out, the machine is inspected.

This inspection:

• determines the cause of the defect
• makes clear whether a repair is technically possible
• can be chargeable

Any inspection costs are communicated in advance and also apply when you decide not to have the repair carried out.

After the inspection you receive:

• a price indication for the repair
• a proposal for carrying it out

The repair only starts after your explicit approval.

If you decide not to have the machine repaired, you can choose:

• return of the machine without repair
• collection of the machine

Any inspection, transport or administration costs still apply.

With repairs outside the warranty, additional costs may apply for:

• transport or collection
• return shipment
• administration
• specific parts or rush orders
• disposal of the defective material by Window Cleaner Depot

These costs are always communicated in advance.

For customers outside Belgium, additional conditions apply.

International repairs:

• always take place after prior consultation
• often require a return to Belgium
• can involve additional transport and customs costs

These costs are always borne by the customer and are agreed in advance.
