Up to what height are you allowed to work using a ladder?
A ladder is intended for brief, light tasks, not as a permanent workstation for hours on end. The rules of thumb:
Maximum of approximately 15 minutes from the same position
Preferred as a workstation up to a working height of approximately 7.5 m and a standing height of 5 m
Never reach further than arm’s length
Do not exert more force than approximately 10 kg
Are you working for a longer period or at a greater height? Then it is better to use scaffolding or an aerial work platform.
