Service and maintenance

In short

Service & maintenance at Window Cleaner Depot focuses on preventive maintenance, optimising performance and extending the lifespan of professional machines and installations.

This is separate from warranty or repairs of defects. Service & maintenance always happens by appointment and is meant to prevent breakdowns and downtime.

When is service or maintenance advisable?

Service or maintenance is advisable when:

  • a machine is used intensively or daily
  • performance drops (pressure, output, flow rate, quality)
  • parts need to be replaced preventively
  • you want to prevent breakdowns
  • an installation needs a periodic check
Does maintenance replace a repair?

No. Maintenance is preventive. In case of a defect, we look at whether a repair is needed.

What does service & maintenance include?

Depending on the machine and the configuration, service & maintenance can consist of:

  • a check of operation and performance
  • preventive replacement of parts subject to wear
  • cleaning and adjustment
  • software or system check (where applicable)
  • safety and function tests

The exact content is determined in advance and tailored to your installation.

Maintenance by appointment

Service & maintenance always happens by appointment.

This allows us to:

  • have the right parts ready
  • schedule the right technician
  • estimate the duration of the intervention correctly

Service in the workshop or on site

Depending on the type of machine and the nature of the maintenance, service can take place:

  • in the Window Cleaner Depot workshop
  • or on site at the customer

The choice depends on:

  • the size and setup of the machine
  • accessibility
  • safety
  • the test or measuring equipment required
Can all maintenance be done on site?

No. Some maintenance work requires specific test setups and only happens in the workshop.

Maintenance intervals

For some machines or installations, it is recommended to have maintenance:

  • periodically
  • or after a certain number of operating hours

carried out.

These intervals depend on:

  • the type of machine
  • the intensity of use
  • environmental factors
Is periodic maintenance mandatory?

No, unless stated otherwise. It can however affect performance, lifespan and in some cases warranty conditions.

International service

For customers outside Belgium:

  • service is possible after prior consultation
  • maintenance can be limited to certain regions
  • service sometimes happens through a return to Belgium

Transport, travel or additional costs are clearly agreed in advance.

What service & maintenance is not

Service & maintenance:

  • is not a warranty repair
  • does not replace a repair in case of a defect
  • does not happen automatically
  • is not included with a standard purchase, unless explicitly stated
