Invoices
Viewing an invoice or credit note
All invoices and credit notes are available through your account in the Window Cleaner Depot webshop.
For every order:
- an invoice is created as soon as the order (or part of it) is shipped
- it is sent via PEPPOL (legally required in Belgium) and/or you also receive the invoice by email
- you can download the invoice as a PDF
When an order is split into several deliveries, you will also receive several invoices.
When is an invoice created?
An invoice is created:
- with immediate payment: after the order has been shipped
- with ordering on invoice (business): at the moment of invoicing, with a payment term
Credit notes are created when:
- an order is cancelled (in full or in part)
- a return has been processed correctly
Paying an invoice
Always pay your invoice using the payment method that applies to your account.
Orders with immediate payment
The invoice is automatically registered as paid.
Ordering on invoice (business)
Invoices must be paid within the agreed payment term (14 days by default) and only with exceptional approval from Window Cleaner Depot.
Processing a payment can take a few working days. The goods are shipped once your payment has been received and processed.
Paying an invoice manually?
If needed, an invoice can also be paid by manual bank transfer. Always state the invoice number in the description so the payment can be processed correctly. The payment details are always clearly shown on the invoice itself.
Changing an invoice
For security and accounting reasons, invoices cannot be changed after the order has been placed.
Has the order not been shipped yet and did you make a mistake in your invoicing details?
- cancel the order
- place a new order with the correct details
Once shipped, changes are no longer possible.
VAT invoice
For business customers, a VAT invoice is drawn up when:
- a valid VAT number has been entered
- the account has been set up correctly as a business account
The VAT details on the invoice depend on:
- the country of delivery
- the customer’s VAT status
- the applicable European or international VAT rules
For international deliveries it is possible that:
- VAT is reverse charged
- no VAT is charged
- import or local VAT applies
Business accounts & invoicing
With a business account:
- invoices are sent to the invoicing email address provided (and for Belgian customers also via PEPPOL)
- invoices are visible in the account of the user who placed the order
Make sure your company details are filled in correctly and completely to avoid problems.
