A coating is only as good as the way you apply it. With a cloth or a sponge you quickly get streaks, spots with too much product and spots with too little.
An application pad lets you spread the product evenly and stay in control of your layer thickness. The pad picks the product up without soaking it all away, so you use less of it too.
Use a clean pad per product and work in overlapping passes. That gives you an even result, also on larger surfaces such as roller shutters or garden furniture.
